The person at the counter was great when we checked in, and the room looked fine at first. Looking closer, though, there was dirt and dust everywhere. Under the ridge at tub level in the shower, I found thick black mold hanging like moss. My wife spotted it while drying her hair after showering, and it clearly wasn’t recent. Housekeeping needs serious work. The location just off the highway was convenient, but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. I always thought Wiyndham was first class, but not anymore. This is the third dirty Wiyndham we’ve stayed at, and one was disgusting. What a shame. Breakfast was cereal and waffles, nowhere near a continental breakfast. Very disappointing.

The rooms are nice and clean, and the price seems reasonable for them. I did bring up a concern to the front desk attendant about the Wi-Fi link in the system being slightly different from the one I have from them. I’ve been scammed a couple of times, and I’m worried scammers could make something similar to get into people’s systems. I told her I wanted to leave a comment about it.

Service was great and the breakfast bar was good, but the coffee was cold and there was no decaf. The pool was small, though the towels looked new. The facility felt very run down, and the hallways throughout the hotel smelled like marijuana. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms had good space and lighting, and the service was helpful and kind. Staff were there when I needed them. It’s easy to get into town from the location by the freeway, and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, including dennys, outback, and Texas Roadhouse.
