Beth was a huge help when I accidentally booked an extra night for the wrong dates online. I didn’t catch the mistake until afterward and was panicking, but she took time to understand what happened and what I needed, then found solutions that worked for me. I’ve had another hotel respond to a similar mistake with annoyance instead of compassion, so I really appreciated her attitude and help sorting it out. Another woman at the desk was helpful too, though I wish I’d gotten her name. When the only ice maker, at the far end of the first floor, was empty, she reset it for me and I got my ice. The hotel itself was pretty clean, and I liked the rates. My shower dripped all day and night, which was the main drawback. Breakfast was basic, and I would’ve liked more choices, though there were bagels, English muffins, eggs, sausage, coffee, yogurt, danishes, biscuits, and make-your-own mini waffles, which are my favorite. There’s no elevator, a downside for me since I hate stairs and my back hates them even more. All in all, it was a great stay and worth booking again. The two women I dealt with were amazing, and that was enough to make me want to return and leave a review.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. Housekeeping is top notch at the Quality inn. Breakfast was good, with sausage, eggs, biscuits, yogurt, cereal, waffles, and fresh hot coffee. I enjoy staying here and will choose this hotel whenever I come to Union south carolina.
I was staying here because of an emergency, and I’m disabled and on oxygen after a recent heart attack. Most of the staff were very rude. Kelly, Shannon, and one young housekeeper were the exceptions. The others watched me struggle without offering help or even asking if I was okay. I pray I never have to stay here again.
This hotel was horrendous. My room smelled like wet dog when I arrived. The front desk clerk came up, confirmed the smell, and told me the cleaning staff only come in every two or three days. I ended up spending over $100 on cleaning supplies and cleaning the room myself. On Monday night the hotel lost power, so I checked out. The next day I found I’d still been charged for the full day, even though I had to leave because of the outage. When I tried to talk to the manager about the charge, she argued with me, became belligerent, and was extremely rude.
The staff take great care of this family-friendly, pet-friendly hotel, even though it has the misfortune of being in Union, South Carolina. I had a great stay. A couple of hours after checking out, I realized I’d left my nearly brand-new headphones there and worried they might be lost, stolen, or broken. I called, and the staff checked the room. By the time I came back to ask, they had my headphones ready to hand over. They were honest and quick to respond.
