My partner was traveling for work, so I booked him a room here. When he opened a drawer to put his things away, he found roach poop. He asked if he could get a discount for a couple of days while he waited for it to be cleaned. Instead, they kicked him out and offered a full refund. He tried to talk calmly and work something out, but the lady just said, “I’m done.” What the heck?

I saw a TikTok and was astounded by how ignorant the situation seemed. As I watched, I recognized the lobby, checked the website, and realized I’d stayed there before. Then I felt bad for the people staying there with a child. Why would you rent a room to anyone, especially a family, and knowingly lock them out of the bathroom? When someone confronted the clerk, she seemed disoriented. Would I recommend this place? No.

Getting on and off the freeway was easy, and the room was clean and nice. I arrived very late, at 1pm, and was welcomed by a very nice gal. The hallways had a strange detergent smell. The overhead light didn’t work, but everything else was in order.

The hotel was quiet and nice, and it’s right off Route 30. The lady at the desk was kind and welcoming. A few things brought my rating down: dust had built up along the carpet edges in the hallway and room, and the coffee maker wasn’t properly clean. I’d booked a two-queen room but was given one bed at check-in and charged for the two-queen setup. It wasn’t a huge issue, but the parking lot needs updates, and the room’s AC and heat system could use a refresh. I didn’t have any problem with a locked bathroom, and mine was pretty clean.
