Benson Guest House

It was peaceful, cozy, and comfortable, and I’d definitely book this place again when we return. We came from north of Houston and had reserved a room at days inn, but when we got to town we learned they only had us down for one night and had no tv. This place responded quickly and had a room ready right away. It’s beautiful and surprisingly quiet despite being off a busy road. You couldn’t hear traffic.

I was traveling for work and chose this over a hotel, and I’m so glad I did. The room was adorable, with a cottagecore feel that I loved. After unpacking, I could walk straight to downtown shops and dining. The location couldn’t have been better, and I’ll definitely be back!

We loved this quaint boutique-style place and will definitely book again. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, and all the rooms share a common area with a coffee bar and breakfast nook. Passing cars were noisy, which was the only downside, but not enough to put us off.

The shared kitchen is very nice, and the room was large, with high ceilings and a good shower. We found the place safe and secure, and the town location is convenient. The AC had what I think was a slight mildew smell and may need cleaning. On Friday nights, loud music from the bar next door goes on until about 2 AM, though Saturday night was fine. The beds were okay, a little soft. Our room wasn’t made up during our stay, and rooms may not be serviced daily. It was a decent stay, and we may come back for the location and space.
