Days Inn Uvalde

Our room had just been renovated, the bed was great, and the courtyard was beautiful. The staff were friendly, too. We were put in room 134, though, in the hallway by the ice machine and vending machines. It got really loud around 11 pm and continued most of the night, then started again at 6 when workers were filling coolers for the day. If you can, avoid rooms 130-136.

I left without staying the night because the room was in such horrible condition, but they still charged me. There were dead bugs all over the floor, including two between the sheets, and the pool water was green. Management gave no response at the time and couldn’t be bothered to get off the phone to speak with me. They sent an “we are sorry” email the next day but never offered to reverse the $140 room charge. They must have really needed that money. It would’ve been cleaner to sleep outside on the grass. Beware and stay away.

The employees were all very friendly, and we’d definitely stay again. My grandson and I were visiting my mom in the hospital, so the location worked perfectly. The room was clean, the walk-in shower was very nice, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a little bit of everything.

After getting two nightmare rooms at Hampton that I refused to stay in, I came here for a week-long work trip. Days Inn was more than accommodating and found me an amazing room overlooking the courtyard. The pool is large and cleaned every day, and I had no complaints or problems. They went beyond what I needed. The room was spacious and quiet, with restaurants and grocery stores all within a mile.
