Arrabelle 282 by Exclusive Vail Rentals

The beautiful setting and great location raised our hopes for a relaxing weekend, but the experience didn't match. Check-in was delayed while another guest complained, and when it was our turn, the first person helping us couldn't complete it and passed us to someone else. We also weren't told in advance that the kitchen would be closed for a private event. At the room, we were told valet would bring our bags up, but they never arrived, so we went back down to get them. The AC didn't seem to work, and the room was so hot and uncomfortable that we slept with the door open. The spa was a letdown too: mediocre service, dirty locker rooms, and an awkward waiting area. Check-in there was bumpy, and the staff member assisting us made it clear they were having a bad day. With service like this, the overall stay didn't justify the price, and we're unsure about returning.

The shuttle was really convenient, and the location made it easy to walk to ski lessons and good food. It's such a gorgeous hotel, and staying here feels luxurious. All the staff were super friendly, with a special shout-out to Natalie for making our engagement so special. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we come back!

I was using Arrabelle's meeting room with my business group, and during breakfast the buffet manager took my plate while I was still eating. They said breakfast was being served in our meeting room and I wasn't allowed to use the buffet, but all that room had was coffee and sweets, nowhere near a proper breakfast. I've never been treated in such an insulting way. I stayed at Arrabelle before, so this was especially unbelievable. For the price, they need to change this policy and make sure employees know how to handle it. Another failed Vail policy. I'll never stay or snowboard at Vail Resorts again.

Seeing Kevin at valet and the rest of the staff is a big part of why The Arrabelle feels so special to us. They go out of their way to treat us like VIPs every time. The hotel is stunning, and this year they gave us a gorgeous room in a great spot right above the Oktoberfest festivities. We return every year for Oktoberfest, and it remains the highlight of our fall. This visit was magical from start to finish, just like the others. The Arrabelle has become part of our tradition, and we can't picture staying elsewhere. We recommend it to friends and are already looking forward to coming back.
