Montaneros in Vail

Jeff and Kent were so friendly and accommodating, and the customer service was unmatched. Our condo at Montaneros was immaculate when we arrived, and the last-minute booking came at a reasonable price too. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back next time we're in Vail.

We were less than five minutes from the gondola, and there may be only one or two lodges in all of Vail that are closer. The pool and two hot tubs were a welcome bonus after I beat myself up coming down the mountain. The staff were phenomenal, friendly, and helpful. Inside, the condo had the mountain-lodge feel I wanted for my first snowboarding trip: a large, usable stone fireplace, a direct view of the ski slope, and a nice kitchen. My one-year-old daughter could also walk around safely without getting into or onto anything she shouldn't.

We were just 20 steps from the Vail and Beaver Creek shuttles, and the Lionshead Gondola was a short walk away. Our spotless, spacious Unit 218 had a full kitchen and a beautiful view of the Lionshead slopes. Kent, the manager, was incredibly helpful, and he and the whole Montaneros staff provided immediate, very friendly assistance whenever we needed it. We loved earning Hyatt points for our stay. We were thrilled with our six nights in January 2024 and very impressed with the hospitality from Kent and his team.

We stayed during the off season for our honeymoon and had a great time exploring the village. It felt like we had the resort to ourselves. The staff were super friendly and made everything easy, and the parking garage that came with the resort saved us a ton compared with the expensive public garages. We cooked steaks in our room's kitchen, sat by the fireplace, and looked out at the snow on the mountain. The staff also told us about nearby hotsprings and were very accommodating. For the price, it was the best bang for our buck, and I'd highly recommend it.
