Tivoli Lodge

This place felt like home, and I was surprised by the detail and quality in the rooms. The ceilings are high, the bed was soft and comfortable, and I liked the toiletries and makeup towels. Everyone we met was pleasant, but Jason at the front door and Melanie at the bar really stood out. Jason in particular was incredibly helpful and seemed to anticipate what we needed. The attention to detail reminded me of a five star resort, while the prices were reasonable compared with the exuberant rates elsewhere. That meant we could enjoy Vail without being multimillionaires. At checkout we learned the hotel was family owned and met one of the owners at the lobby bar. That was the icing on the cake. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Snow and pine trees surrounded the outdoor hot tub and jacuzzi, which felt especially relaxing after a day out. Valet parking made things convenient too. The hotel is right in the heart of Vail, so we could explore town on foot, and the ski area was an easy walk as well. The Christmas decorations throughout Vail Village made the stay feel magical and added so much charm. It was an amazing, memorable visit.

The outdoor hot tub was a highlight, and Gondola One is only a 2 minute walk away. The lodge is beautiful, with stunning views and a great Vail location. Staff were very nice and the amenities were excellent. It is on the pricey side, though. If you want late checkout, call early that day. They don’t grant it in advance, and only give one room per floor.

I booked at the last minute without realizing this was a family owned lodge. I’m so glad I picked it. I was in town with my parents and husband, and we had a fantastic time. Our valet was kind and wonderful from the moment we arrived. Check-in was easy, and they let us leave our bags before the room was ready. At the lobby bar we met Mel, who looked after us, suggested dinner spots, and made it a great experience. Breakfast was tasty too. My parents are picky about hotel food, but they loved everything the chef made that morning. We’ll definitely stay here again in Vail.
