Vail's Mountain Haus

I was very disappointed. They initially put me in the wrong room, then moved me to an even worse one. I spoke with Maddison on the phone, I’m not sure what her role is there, and she promised me a two-bedroom with a mountain view. Instead, I spent the night in Vail’s smallest room, with no view. The lobby staff were hardly helpful, and there were no refunds.

The location is ideal, just across the covered bridge over Gore Creek from the center of Vail Village. The units are clean and comfortably roomy, and the staff are always welcoming and engaging. Though I own private property in Vail, I’ve booked the Mountain Haus penthouses for several years during the holidays so our larger group of family and friends can enjoy time together. Thank you, Iva, for always making it a satisfying experience for us.

Madison did so much to make us feel welcome during our stay. The room was just the right size for a few nights, and we loved the spa and pool. We could easily walk to the concert amphitheater and other fun places in Vail. We’ll definitely be back.

The service and room were awful, and the whole experience was embarrassing. I left and spent the rest of my weekend at the Sebastian. Don’t waste your time or money on people who don’t want you there.
