Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Valdosta, GA

I stopped by without a reservation because I’d stayed at this location before. It was late in the evening, but Tanesha, I believe that was her name, quickly found me a room and was genuinely nice as well as great with customer service. When I left, a gentleman asked if anything could have made my visit better. No, you all did a great job. See you next time I’m in Valdosta.

We loved the indoor pool, especially since it’s the only one in Valdosta, and the whole place felt relaxing and stylish. Country Inn & Suites was fantastic from arrival to departure. Celinda and Latisha at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, and check-in and checkout were easy. Our room was spotless and fresh, with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast was free and had loads of choices: Greek yogurt, make-your-own waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal like Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes, fruit such as bananas and apples, and plenty more. The breakfast area stayed very clean, with staff regularly refilling things and wiping surfaces. The amenities, including the pool and gym, were excellent. We felt pampered and can’t wait to return.

We were unsure about the area on our first visit to Valdosta, but the hotel was great and staff were friendly and helpful. It was packed with all kinds of guests, yet there were no issues. Everything, inside and out, was very clean. The carpets looked new, and the furnishings and linens were spotless and smelled fresh. Our spacious king suite was beautiful and tidy, with no smell. The living area could be closed off, and the bedroom and bathroom had separate doors. There was a pull-out full-size bed in the couch, plus an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, mini coffee maker, and cable TV with a channel guide. The heated indoor pool was nice for the kids, though small. The ground-floor workout room next to it was nice too. My one complaint is that the pool towels were VERY small. Breakfast wasn’t incredible, but it did the job: eggs and meat, with sausage one day and bacon the next, plus bagels, bread, sausage and gravy, and coffee and hot chocolate. There were no biscuits during our stay. Everything in this area is close by. They welcome dogs and charge 25 dollars per stay. We enjoyed our visit, would recommend the hotel, and would come back.

I’m in Valdosta a few times a year, and this is a great place to stay. The prices are decent, the quality is fantastic, and the clean rooms look top notch. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast may be the best I’ve had at the many hotels I stay in around GA, with plenty of options and hot food that’s fresh and tasty. Even with traffic, getting in and out is easy. The nearby light and turn lane help, and I waited only a few seconds to enter or leave, even at rush hour. 10/10 recommend.
