Raine Motel

Andy, the owner, and his wife clearly take pride in the Raine Motel. It has a clean, efficient retro feel, and the room had space for me, my bicycle, and all my bike gear. The Cowboy Trail was easy to reach right from the property, so I didn’t have to pedal down main street. When I asked, they let me leave my car in the lot where it was in view of the lobby, and were flexible about my return date so I could finish the Trail out and back. The Raine Motel was the perfect choice for my Cowboy Trail experience. Highly recommend!

The rooms were squeaky clean, the beds were okay, and the AC worked great. Breakfast was a letdown, though. The waffles were good and the yogurt was fine, but half the packaged breakfast burritos were moldy, and the juice was watery. I wanted to like this place, but we decided not to stay a second night. Maybe make other plans for breakfast.

It was quiet and peaceful, just right for relaxing after a long day, and there’s plenty of parking. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and gas stations. My room was clean and cozy, with everything I needed for a comfortable night. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, too. A great value for the price, and I’d happily stay here again.

Please don’t blame us for a cancellation that you made. Raine Motel has proof that your reservation was cancelled. The “three other people” you mentioned had booked through other channels, and each had accidentally reserved one night instead of two. When I received a last-minute cancellation, I immediately offered you a room. You also shared a room with two other guests, and I allowed that at no extra charge as a courtesy. It’s disappointing to hear these negative comments after the efforts we made to accommodate you.
