The Inn at Little Pond Farm

We were lucky to get seats at the Friday Chef's dinner, and the experience was so intimate and special that even our description can't do it justice. The food was impeccable, service was first class, and the other guests were a lot of fun. We loved the tranquil setting, the friendly, professional staff, and the wonderful people staying at the inn. The architecture rewards a closer look, from the wall textures and our room's ceiling to the bathroom faucets, plumbing fixtures, and remarkable kitchen. We had a great time at The Inn at Little Pond Farm. If you can't book a room, treat yourself to the Chef's Dinner in the grand kitchen. You'll be glad you did.

The dinner and the welcoming staff were the highlights for us. The food was great, and the chef came by with every course to talk about the dishes. Our server was attentive, and Polly and Courtney were both warm and helpful. The facility was spotless, and it was nice to share a healthy breakfast with other travelers. Their suggestions for Over Yonder restaurant and the Boone farmers market were spot on. The community park, lavender store, and mast store were an easy drive, and Blowing Rock was about 20 minutes away for the art museum, outlets, Bass Lake trails, and downtown shops. We look forward to returning.

We managed to book at short notice for a very attractive price, and I'm glad we did. The room had lovely furnishings and careful attention to detail, and the shower felt like bathing under a waterfall. We missed out on the dinner because it was sold out, but breakfast was outstanding. The staff were friendly and engaging, too. I highly recommend the Inn, and would go before it gets discovered and becomes harder to book.

The scenery around the Inn was gorgeous, and we enjoyed some lovely walks. Inside, everything was immaculate, with beautiful European decor and luxurious beds, bedding, and linens. The gourmet breakfast was outstanding, and Hunter prepared a fantastic dinner right in front of us. Our host Wendy, the Innkeeper, was charming and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. She's also wonderfully talented at conversation and in the kitchen. Hunter was delightful too. One of the finest Inns we've stayed at.
