Vallejo Inn

This place is in poor condition, with messy, badly maintained rooms and staff who are consistently rude and unprofessional. It's unsuitable for families because of ongoing issues with illegal activity. There are frequent reports of drug use and solicitation happening openly on the property, and management overlooks it. Avoid the place unless you're looking for an environment associated with drug activity.

We paid $60 a night for a king room, which came with the usual hotel items, including a microwave, hair dryer, and fridge. The staff were very nice, and even though we checked in around 9 p.m., the front desk stayed open until midnight. Parking is tiny; once it filled up, they let us park in a non-parking area since we weren't blocking the street, where we could see the office camera. That was helpful. The cheap price came with a lot of nighttime activity, including girls walking around. The place was disgusting: the bathroom floor hadn't been swept, the blankets had white stains, the pillows were tiny, and there was a hair on our bed that made me wonder if they change the sheets. The towels were small and cheap too. The outlets by the TV didn't work, though there were two on each side of the wall, and a lamp by the bed would've been nice. My boyfriend and I were glad we had blankets and pillows in the car from camping, since we used those instead of the hotel's. Plan carefully, especially if you have kids. I'd choose another location.

A security emergency showed how useless their "security guard" is, apparently there for decoration. Staff are bad at communicating, and when people living there harassed us for looking their way or at their partner, management said there was "nothing" they could do. Then our vehicle was stolen, seemingly out of spite. I'd warn anyone, especially families, to stay clear of this disgusting, worthless place. STAY AWAY!

Take this as your sign to avoid staying here. I left after five minutes, just from walking around. This place should be shut down.
