The manager was polite, though the checkout time was confusing: he said 10 a.m., while a notice inside said 11. The shower barely let out any water, and we couldn't find an outlet in the bathroom. The room felt badly outdated, the bedspread was dirty and smelled, and the two pillows together still weren't decent. The rug was so filthy that the bottoms of my socks turned black. There were only three outlets, so we had to choose between plugging in the TV or refrigerator. My husband went to Home Depot and bought a splinter to use during our stay. We got no ice bucket or coffee pot, just two plastic cups, one small bar of soap, and old, thin towels. I paid twice what I would have at a Motel 6. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. The reviews here are really old, so I'm curious if this one will even get posted. We were very disappointed.

The room was amazing for the price: very clean, with hardwood floors, a huge-screen TV, a full kitchen, and a comfortable bed. My husband and I stayed here while driving down to Los Angeles, and we loved the experience. The family who owns the hotel and the staff were all extremely pleasant. I'd absolutely come back, and I recommend it to anyone on a budget. Even without a budget, I'd stay again. A 10/10 for us. Thanks to Rick & his family!

A quiet, safe-feeling budget inn in a calm neighborhood, close to lots of fast food and right by the I-80 exit on Magazine. It's clean and newly remodeled, with wood floors, big beds, a couch, closet, refrigerator, microwave, and dressers. The bathrooms are nice and clean, and the staff are friendly. There's no bad traffic around. You can stay for days or even months as long as you pay each day, though I wouldn't stay for months myself.

I've been staying here whenever I get a turnaround job in the area, ever since 2007. It's clean, quiet, secure, and in a decent neighborhood, and the rooms are fairly large and recently remodeled. The management is excellent, and the owners are really nice. Rick and his father have always treated me like family. I'd recommend the place for a vacation or a business stay.

The room was quiet and nicely kept, but there isn't much parking and a lot of locals live here. Bathrooms are small, with stand-up showers and no tub. In room 117, the ventilation window is positioned so someone at the neighboring house's window can look straight into the room and see everything. Pets aren't allowed.
