The bed was really comfortable, though it could use more pillows or larger ones. The shower water took a long time to warm up, and we could hear the neighbors' show through the wall. The hotel is remodeling and has no wheelchair-accessible ramp at the front entrance. It sits right off the highway, with a miniature golf course across the road and an Applebee's next door, an easy walk back after a meal. It was a nice stay and I'd return.

I wanted to get out of this hotel as fast as possible after a cold shower that never warmed up, even after waiting 35 minutes. The bathroom was grimy, with hair and gunk in the shower, sink, and on the floor. The towels seemed to be the only clean thing. I arrived around midnight, and the front doors were clearly malfunctioning, though check-in itself went smoothly. Construction materials were piled in the hall. My room smelled like cigarettes, with dirt and hair by the entrance and hair on the bed. I was exhausted from traveling and made do instead of asking for help, which I regret. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The smoke detector outside my door started beeping around 7:50 pm. The front desk button on the room phone didn't work, and it took an hour after I called on my cell for someone to replace the battery. Then I woke around 7 am to loud banging, maybe from the construction crew. The shower needs a deep clean, and the ice machine had a warning light. That seemed minor next to my ice bucket, which was full of trash and hair. The gym looked hardly used, and the treadmill screen was broken, though it still worked. The first night was fine, and the front desk employee was kind and helpful at check-in. I stayed mainly for the convenient location, but it wasn't worth what I paid.

The room's AC worked, breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were helpful. It was also quiet, though the doors slam really loudly. Cleanliness was a problem: there were stains on the bathroom and comforter, the bathroom door wouldn't lock, and the building smelled like unfinished drywall. A smoke detector beeped through the first night, then was fixed sometime later.
