The breakfast host was the standout for us. He was warm and genuinely helpful, kept the waffle station clean and the condiments filled, and even went out of his way to find ice for our juice. He represented Hilton really well. The rest of the service was disappointing. At check-in, the clerk tried to charge a pet fee for my vested service dog, even though my Hilton Honors profile says I travel with her. Nobody mentioned breakfast hours or recognized my HH status. I don't usually make a fuss, but the front desk typically greets us by name and acknowledges our level. The next morning, the shift manager walked into the elevator as my wife and I were trying to get out with our bags and dog. He didn't say excuse me or apologize, and acted as if we were in his way. I only realized he was the manager later, when I saw him joking with staff.

We were happy with the room, and even though it was near the ice machine, we couldn't hear any noise from it. The room had a lovely layout, different from what I'm used to at a Hampton Inn. We stopped here on our way home. Nathan helped me sort out a room. I'd asked for two queens, but that wasn't available, and my husband and I usually choose a queen. Nathan explained that after last year's refurbishment, the single-bed rooms are now kings. The customer service was great. One thing I'd suggest is asking for the second floor instead of the first. I can see why people mention hearing footsteps above the ground-floor rooms, since the floors don't feel as solid as in many hotels.

The alarm in the middle of the night is what settled it for me. It blared for two or three minutes, and although there didn't seem to be a fire, I don't know what caused it. Being jolted awake by that ear-splitting signal while trying to leash my dog and find my pants was frightening. My companion, my dog, and I stayed in four hotels over six days on a family business trip. This was the worst one, and I wouldn't choose it again. The room and shared spaces, including the lobby, breakfast room, and hallways, were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was free, and staff were helpful, though not especially friendly. My companion chose the place because she is a Hilton Honors member and it accepts dogs. There were several signs of wear. In our room, a closet door had been removed, leaving fastener holes unfilled and the area unpainted. Paint was scraped off the back of the bathroom door, and the ice machine on our floor didn't work, so I went to the second floor for ice. Outside, an unattached-looking pipe sat by the main entrance. A broken, red-splashed trash can was visible near an employee entrance, and a grill was tucked into a corner. The sidewalk drain cover near an entrance or exit had a large section missing. It looked as if it had once been taped, but almost all the tape was gone, leaving residue. That was ugly and potentially dangerous. Any one of these issues might not have mattered much at a cheaper hotel, but together they felt like a lot, especially under the Hilton name. Before the alarm, I still would have rated the stay four stars.

3/11/26. The fire doors were my one gripe, they slammed loudly and didn't have pistons to slow them down. Otherwise, the place was clean and modern, with a good breakfast spread and pleasant staff. It's recently built. We were on the second floor and had plenty of hot water, so I don't understand the other reviews saying there wasn't any.

We travel a lot since retiring, and the staff here were very friendly. The place looked new and was very clean. We stayed in Room 108, where the mattress was like a rock. I like a firm bed, but this went way beyond firm. The walls also didn't block sound as well as I'm used to at a Hampton. We could hear the person in Room 110 coughing all night.
