We usually don't have much reason to interact with staff during our annual Portland Swap Meet stays, but Joel at the front desk and Theresa, who handled breakfast each morning, made a lasting impression on all of us. Joel was caring, kind, attentive, and just a sweet person. Theresa was lovely with our kids, paid attention, and remembered what we'd told her about our plans each day. That kind of care feels rare now. We've stayed at Homewood Suites for at least 13 years, and things have always been great, but this time the staff really stood out. Thank you both so much!

It's a convenient spot for visiting my clients, but getting around the hotel is a mess. There are several buildings, the layout is a maze, and the room numbers don't line up with the floors. For example, room 248 is on the third floor of building 3. It was very hard to find my room.

The large fridge and sitting area make the room feel like a little apartment away from home when I'm here for business. I've stayed twice and would come back. I like the layout, and it's close to a couple of restaurants and coffee across the street, with safe places to walk at night. The downtown Vancouver Waterfront area is also within walking distance, with plenty of good food and treats.

The suites are spacious, clean, and well equipped, and breakfast is better than average. The pool and spa always seem to be closed. Parking costs $10, and the pet fee is $75.

The suites are huge, and for the price the value is great. Breakfast is decent too. The staff weren't very helpful, though, and when I needed to print something, there wasn't a printer available anywhere on the property.
