The rooms were very clean, it’s right off the highway, and the staff were so friendly. They even walked around to ask if we needed anything, which I appreciated. Breakfast was great, and the servers were lovely. We also ordered from the restaurant, where the bartender was friendly. The food was okay, and the kickback was absolutely crazy, with everyone waiting for free drinks. You can hear people in the hall overnight, so light sleepers should bring a sound machine. The alarm clock in our room went off at 6:15 a.m., and I couldn’t figure out how to shut it off, so I had to unplug it.

We were there for my daughter’s 16th birthday, and it was packed. She couldn’t get into the pool and hot tub because of the crowds. Virginia, the manager, was amazing and gave us a late checkout on Monday morning so she could use them and have a great time. The service from the front desk, bar area, and everyone around was great. Virginia was the best, very sweet and kind, and more than willing to help with our needs. My daughter ended up having a wonderful birthday.

I’ve stayed at Drury Hotels hundreds of times over the years, and Drury Inn is usually my vacation getaway when I need to relax. I was excited to return after the remodel. The service was superb, and I have no complaints about that, but the room was a huge disappointment. There were live and dead flies and ladybugs in the room, including on the lamps and in the bathroom. This was a problem on my previous stay too, and I’d hoped the remodel would change things. Dead flies were on the towels, so I quickly threw them into the hall. Some towels and blankets had blonde hair all over them, and the washcloths had makeup and tobacco on them, which I also tossed out. My sheets had yellow stains. I was so disgusted that I didn’t take many pictures, but please see the attached ones. My guest from out of town even asked if I’d seen the live and dead flies in the lampshade. At 3 a.m. I woke up to a vacuum running and a lot of commotion. It was probably the most disappointing of my three-night stays. Update: I spoke with Noah, the general manager. He took pride in making sure the situation was fixed, and I’ll give Drury Inn another chance. Thank you, Noah.

We usually choose Drury because the rooms are consistent and the breakfast is normally one of the best. The staff at this location were some of the best we’ve had. We had a small issue and just wanted to let them know so we wouldn’t get charged. The GM was great and made bags for my kids.

They wouldn’t waive the pet fee, even with a doctor’s note, for my girlfriend and my emotional support cat. It was over $50 a night and nonrefundable. I understand some pets can cause damage, but the cat is necessary for her emotional support. I think it’s disgusting to take advantage of pet owners this way while not charging fees for kids who draw on the walls with crayons and markers. Most hotels charge a refundable security deposit if nothing is damaged, which seems reasonable. A nonrefundable pet fee makes it look like they just want quick money from pet owners. I can’t support a business with such greedy, inhumane practices. I hope they change the policy. I know a lot of people who travel with pets and would love to stay at your hotels, but won’t pay such an outrageously high pet deposit.
