The manager tried to help by moving us to another room, and we appreciated that. The beds were comfortable, the place otherwise seemed clean, and the staff were friendly. Still, the damp, musty smell was too much. Our first room smelled like mildew and wet, dirty socks, and the carpet was damp. We switched for the second night, but as soon as the AC came on in the new room, the same smell returned. There was a bag over that room’s smoke detector, and it smelled like pot. Breakfast was dismal, too. We hadn’t expected much for the price, but the mildew coming from the AC units made it hard to breathe and turned our two-day stay into something we had to endure. I don’t recommend this place.

The room next door was noisy, so we had to switch rooms. There were stained tubs and carpets that smelled bad, and the yogurt at breakfast was expired. There’s no elevator, and Fox News Channel was blocked while all the other channels were available. We don’t recommend staying here.

After our stay, my wife and daughter got lice. We’d spotted a bug in the bed and complained right away, but the only offer was to move us to a different room. When we complained again, we were told nothing could be done to make it right. I’m extremely disappointed. Don’t stay here.

It’s dated, but okay. The TV was standard definition at best. And if you don’t like waffles, don’t count on having breakfast.
