Route 66 Desert Rose Country Inn

The room was nice and clean, and the people who work here or own the place were awesome and friendly. The breakfast choices were simple but very good. The water pressure was absolutely insane, though not in a bad way. They also take cats and dogs for a reasonable fee, about $17 if I remember right.

Traveling alone with my three daughters, we felt very safe here. The Route 66 history theme is fun, and we’re looking forward to seeing what this great family does with the new business over the years. The room was clean and comfortable, with lots of amenities and attention to detail. Freshly baked muffins were a highlight, and we appreciated the breakfast bags to go.

We liked this motel enough on our January trip west that we made a point of staying here on the way home too. I was traveling with my husband, my 91-year-old mother, and our two dogs. The management was superb, and the rooms were very clean. The complimentary breakfast bags are a lovely extra. There are reasonably priced snacks and drinks in the office. There’s a coffee pot in the room, and complimentary Keurig coffee is also available in the office. I highly recommend this motel.

It’s an older hotel, but a nice place to stop. The owner was friendly, and there’s truck parking. Our two dogs could stay in a pet-friendly room, which was nice. The room was dated but very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The shower had good pressure and temperature. We got a snack bag at checkout. The owner said he’d bought the property recently and was making improvements over time.
