Patriot Stay Motel

I’d happily stay again. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I cut my stay short and moved to another hotel. The room had a filthy floor, ants crawling around, and a very old mattress. It smelled of both smoke and mold, and there was mold in the bathroom corners along with badly cracked floor tiles.

The man at check-in was kind and helpful, and the service was fantastic. The room, though, smelled so awful I had to sleep with an orange peel against my nose. I’d booked with our toddler, so it was a shock to find that most rooms are smoking rooms, something I hadn’t been told before booking. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy from a motel, but the stovetop didn’t even have knobs.

The front desk was friendly and understanding, but we only stayed in the room a few minutes before asking for a refund and checking out. The carpets were stained and clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, and little bugs were scattered across the floors, walls, and windows. The old, dirty A/C units struggled to blow cool air.
