The room cost $170, which didn’t feel like good value, and the reservations line quoted $195. This is the second time I’ve called to book and gotten a ridiculously high price. I’m an IHG club member and keep hoping for a great stay, but lately that hasn’t happened. We stopped during a road trip to see if a room was available. The receptionist was pleasant and gave us room 102, but it was opposite the gym and next to an exit door that kept banging as people came and went. The noise carried on until 1 a.m. and started again at 5 a.m., so after two nights at a Palo Dura canyon cabin, we didn’t get the good sleep we’d hoped for. Breakfast was like any Holiday Inn’s; the biscuits had just come out and were enjoyable, and the coffee was good.

Alonah at the desk was very friendly and helped us with what we needed. The rooms were clean and laid out nicely, and you can walk to nearby places to eat if you want.

The breakfast was great, too. The kitchen and table area were clean and pleasant, so it was nice to sit down for a peaceful meal before getting back on the road. Our room was very clean, everything looked brand new and smelled fresh, and the bed was heavenly soft. Thank you, Holiday Inn, for a great stay.

The hot breakfast was much better than I expected. I had a comfortable, quiet night while traveling, and I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express. I’ll keep staying here.

After nearly three weeks on the road, this place felt more like home than anywhere else I’ve stayed. The room had a separate bedroom with a door and a mini kitchen. I loved it.
