Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Vero Beach

We’d just left a nearby hotel that stunk of mold when we came here, and this was a very nice stay. Everyone we met on staff was friendly and super helpful. The breakfast attendants especially stood out. They kept the area in good shape and were very friendly, and they replenished things more attentively than staff at some other hotels do.

The hotel smells lovely from the moment you enter, and the area around it is clean. Breakfast quality and cleanliness were being monitored by an attendant too. I’ve stayed at many Mariott hotels across the US, including some in the top-of-the-top collection, but never in a cleaner one. This property really stands out for cleanliness and polite staff, and its high rating is well deserved.

The breakfast was great, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. But I’ve never stayed in a hotel with no towel bars in the bathroom. That’s a ridiculous design choice, especially when more than one person is staying.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were very accommodating both at the front desk and in the breakfast area. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of storage, a microwave, mini fridge, mini kitchenette, and a nice big desk for work. The bedding was fresh, towels were clean, and the shower was spotless. There was lots of food and plenty of other things nearby. My only complaint was the dust behind the furniture. Housekeeping could’ve done a better job there, and it made my allergies go absolutely nuts, even though the room was otherwise clean. For food, don’t go to the nearby Ocean Grill. It was a huge cost and an even bigger disappointment.
