Prestige Hotel Vero Beach

We went during the quiet season and were given a really nice, spacious room, which we appreciated. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nice, and the staff are great. There’s a small breakfast included, too. The location is great, and it’s wonderfully quiet for a relaxing getaway. We’ll definitely come back.

The location is excellent, right by the ocean and just a short walk to the beach. The Polish couple who manage the hotel were friendly and helpful, too. Earlier in our stay, the shower backed up and the balcony latch was broken, but the gentleman came up quickly and fixed both. We had a lovely first three nights in a clean, comfortable second-floor room with a balcony facing the ocean. We liked it enough to add a fourth night, but the only room available was downstairs. That night, my wife spotted a cockroach, then another. Once we turned on the lights, we saw several more, especially around the kitchen. It was disturbing and unacceptable, especially after paying around $400 for the night. We mentioned it at checkout the next morning. They said they would have moved us if we’d called, but it was very late, we were leaving early, and waking the whole family to switch rooms didn’t feel like a realistic option. What bothered me most was that they offered no refund or even partial credit, which would have helped make things right. That last night really tainted the stay. If they dealt with the roach problem and handled situations like ours more responsibly, this could be a good little hotel. I’d be cautious about staying again.

The rooms were clean and the beach was decent. Parking is really tight, with no space for visitors. Nothing special.

We love this place and this was our second stay here together. The complimentary breakfast was just right, the rooms were immaculate, and everyone was so friendly. The staff did a great job!
