Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison-Verona By IHG

The pool and hot tub were both accessible with lifts, and the large hot tub worked well. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choices including a pancake machine, and the dining area felt welcoming, with a fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating for eating and conversation. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean, as was the rest of the place, which looked and smelled spotless. Staff took care of all our needs. It’s in a safe, easy-to-reach location about 10 minutes from downtown Madison, and works well for business or pleasure.

The evening happy hours are a nice way to relax after a full day of Epic training, and the shuttle makes getting to and from Epic easy. I’ve stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Verona for training over the past 15 years. It isn’t fancy, but it’s reliably clean and comfortable. What keeps bringing me back is the staff, who go out of their way to make guests feel welcome.

Isaac at reception was kind and extremely helpful, especially when I needed some last-minute changes to my booking. I’ve had a great extended stay here for work.

Maddie, the manager, went out of her way to make sure our stay was right, and her kindness and professionalism really stuck with me. Isaac was courteous, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with throughout the visit. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well looked after. Breakfast was included each morning, with plenty of tasty options. I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Verona, WI, and would gladly return and recommend it to others. Thanks to the whole team.
