We enjoyed our stay, and Krystal pointed us to a great restaurant. There was some confusion about the room we’d reserved, but Jeanine did her best to find us something suitable. We learned to press 0 to reach the hotel directly instead of the call center.

Best place we’ve stayed at, hands down. The beds were comfortable and didn’t feel worn out. Breakfast was great too, especially the pancakes with bacon that wasn’t overcooked. The cook said making the batter the night before lets it rise. She deserves a medal for that discovery.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times since my daughter moved to the area in June of 2024. We were supposed to visit her this Saturday 11/1/25, but she and we got sick and had to cancel. That’s when I realized I’d accidentally booked a non-refundable rate through the IHG website, even though I’d booked refundable rates for all my other stays here. I contacted both the hotel manager and IHG corporate to request a one-time exception, either a refund or a complimentary one-night stay. We expect to be in the area several times a year for the next few years. Corporate said the manager had to decide. The manager told me they couldn’t go against corporate policy because it would affect their audit numbers, so they refused both requests. To me, that says management cares about audit numbers more than its past or future guests, while corporate won’t help either. Refusing a one-time accommodation over an error, despite the many future visits they could have kept, seems very shortsighted and reflects poorly on the organization and local management. Edited after management response: The reply confirms my review. Their policy matters more than helping a loyal guest whose future business would have been worth more than a one-time exception for my mistake. If you’re considering a stay, some businesses value customer loyalty. This isn’t one of them.

The staff were very cordial, and the rooms were so clean I was comfortable walking barefoot. The breakfast staff were helpful and easy to talk with.
