The Woodford reserve suite had comfortable beds and thoughtful touches, including a pitcher of ice-cold filtered water waiting in the fridge. The entryway has a lovely scent, and Kristin and Eric have done a wonderful job restoring the place. They were very responsive and kind, and the stay exceeded our expectations. This is more like a quaint, upscale apartment in the middle of downtown than a standard chain hotel, which we appreciated. The one possible downside is that the walls facing the street are thin, so traffic can be noticeable for light sleepers. Kristin and Eric provide earplugs and a white noise machine to help. I'd absolutely stay again and again.

We loved our Pappy Vanwinkle themed room, and I wish we'd booked more nights. The town is great, with a central spot for exploring the bourbon trail. I got to chat with the owner, who gave us some good food and drink recommendations around town. He also mentioned plans for the space next door to the hotel. I'd like to return and share some bourbon with him.

Walking to restaurants, bars, and places for shots and cocktails takes only a few steps from the front door, and the distilleries are a short drive away. It made a great base for exploring and relaxing. The location is right in the heart of a town that feels like it came from a Hallmark movie, with charming streets, warm lights, and a lovely small-town feel. The Woodford Hotel itself is cozy, classy, full of character, and beautifully designed. The beds were especially comfortable, and every room has its own personality, which made the stay feel unique. We had a wonderful visit and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend it for comfort, character, and a great location.

The rooms are decorated around bourbon brands, and the decor is wonderful. Amenities were great, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The place felt charming, quaint, pleasant, and relaxing, more than I could have asked for. I met the owner, who was very friendly and clearly cares about guests' experience. The location is great for bourbon distilleries, horse farms, and historic towns. Versailles seems to be going through a trendy revival, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. I plan to return and stay at The Woodford Hotel again.

I found the Pappy Van Winkle suite quiet and restful, with a peaceful feel. The bed was so comfortable that I even took a few naps during the day. The room was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The moment I walked into the building, it brought back a sense of the past. The mix of old-fashioned character and modern amenities worked perfectly for me. This isn't a traditional hotel, but the owners communicated clearly from booking through checkout, so I gave the service five stars. If you like an old-town atmosphere with modern comforts, this is the place. Thank you, Woodford Hotel, for being in Versailles.
