Parkway Inn

My sister was staying here through DSS and apparently there were bed bugs. The front desk didn’t care when we told them, and DSS didn’t care when we complained there either. We ended up recording them and pointing out that providing someone with an unsafe place to live is illegal. They moved her only after we said the bugs could transfer through papers, lol.

I wasn’t staying at the motel, just trying to drop something off for someone. Parking looked fine by some of the other rooms, but I couldn’t find a spot close enough to reach the room she was in. There didn’t seem to be any parking that gave access to the rooms starting with 100.

I’ve been here a little over two months in emergency housing, in room #203. It has a single bed, mini fridge, TV, and the other basics. Everything has worked so far. The owner and his wife have been caring and considerate, and they dealt with the small issues right away. I’ve enjoyed staying here. If I had transportation and needed to rent a room, I’d come back.

The owner was very nice, but the room was a different story. It needs a lot of updating. We chose a smoking room without realizing those were still a thing, or how guests treat the bed, blankets, and carpet in them. We ended up leaving and wouldn’t recommend this place. Not reading the reviews first was my mistake, and I had no idea what we were getting into.
