We had a great stay in the spacious Wilson Room, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Anchuca's history is fascinating, and the house feels like a real treasure. It's also conveniently close to other historic sites. I'd suggest trying the restaurant while you're there, and don't forget to grab some macaroons!

We stayed in the guest house and found it comfortable, clean, and very nice. Dinner and brunch were delicious, as usual. Anitra, our waitress, was wonderful and went out of her way for us. We'd gladly return and recommend the place.

I first stayed at Anchuca for my wedding 40 years ago, and this week I came back from England, where I've lived since. We adored our time here. The house and atmosphere are beautiful, and we loved every minute. My only suggestion is to move Stonewall Jackson out of the yellow bedroom. I don't really want to stay in a plantation house, but I see Anchuca as a town house. The room's decor is otherwise tasteful and unobtrusive, just right for resting, but Stonewall is on the stairs and in the bedroom. My husband was driven a little crazy by the breakfast video playing on repeat. Those are small things, though. Thank you so much!

Vickie was personable and kind, and the food was unbelievable. We had the pork ribeye and chicken picatta. My husband and I went to Anchuca for an anniversary dinner after visiting the historic battlefield, and the intimate, calming atmosphere made it a lovely evening.

The Davis suite was plush and incredibly comfortable for our three-night stay. We had a great time in this historic mansion, and visited memorials and museums connected with the Battle of Vicksburg. We love the city and hope to come back next year.
