Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vicksburg by IHG

The one drawback was that there wasn’t a laundry basket in the room, and the hotel only had one washer and dryer. Otherwise, everything was excellent and I’d stay again. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, fresh towels were provided and trash was picked up every day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room itself was just okay, and they made no effort at all to fix what happened. I rarely leave a bad review, but this was seriously disappointing. When I called for help with the booking, an employee named Niki gave me false information, clearly overwhelmed and trying to get me off the phone. At the hotel, she and her manager gave me the runaround about the same issue. I was charged for an extra night, which they refused to remove, and they wouldn’t give me anyone else to contact about their mistake. They were nice in manner, but they won’t own up to errors or help their customers.

My husband was treated terribly by the staff, even though he’s a Diamond member. He travels for work, moving military families from state to state, and had just finished a long drive hoping to rest. Instead, staff questioned whether his credit card authorization form was genuine, even though it was filled out correctly and he was in his work uniform. He felt profiled and accused of fraud. I couldn’t believe it. That behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Don’t waste your money here.

We had a nice stay and appreciate Holiday Inn Expresses when we travel on vacation. The breakfast was good, though the bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner.
