We were there for three nights and enjoyed every minute. The house is lovely and peaceful, and both the bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Elizabeth and Noelle made us feel welcome, took care of breakfast, and made sure we had what we needed. We also liked the pool area, the streaming TV, and the reliable Wi-Fi. We brought a fan because we weren’t sure what to expect, but each room has its own AC controls and ours already had a little tabletop fan. You hardly notice the other guests until breakfast. It was our first B&B, and we chose well. Highly recommend!

For anyone who enjoys history and a comfortable setting, Oak Hall is a great choice. The house is a real treasure, and we’re glad the owners share it with guests. Their warmth made us feel at home, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean. It was our first visit to Vicksburg, and we were happy we ended up here. Just remember, this is a historic home.

The pool was a welcome spot in the late afternoon heat after we checked in. It’s clean, relaxed, and nicely kept, like the rest of the grounds and building. Downtown Vicksburg is only a few blocks away, with plenty of places to eat and shop. We also enjoyed the guest kitchen for making drinks, and I got to play the lovely old piano in the front room for other guests. Service was always available and attentive when we needed anything. The rooms all have a strong sense of history. My wife and I had a lovely stay at Oak Hall and plan to return. Highly recommended!

We were just passing through for the night, headed from Little Rock to NOLA, and somehow ended up sharing wine, cupcakes, and piano music with other guests. There was a couple from Australia going from NOLA to Memphis, another from CO on their way from Memphis to Dallas, and a couple from Hawaii traveling from FL to Memphis. It was such a fun surprise, and I’m still in touch with the Australian and Hawaiian couples. The owners were great and very friendly. We stayed in the blue music room, which had a comfortable bed, in a beautiful historic house. The pool looked nice but was cold, with no heat. We didn’t get to try the town’s rooftop restaurant or take a walk around town, though they sound nice for next time.

We had a great stay in the spacious Treetop Room, which had a lovely style. Breakfast each morning was filling and delicious, with that Southern charm. Oak Hall is also well placed for downtown and Vicksburg National Battlefield Park, and the house can accommodate families with kids. It’s a beautiful home for a visit to Vicksburg, Mississippi. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.
