Homewood Suites Victoria, TX

The breakfast food was good, and the on site bar was handy for a beer in the evening. Staff were attentive and friendly, and the location was good. But the beds weren’t very comfortable, the pillows were old, and they need replacing. One side of the bed had no bedside table, so they’d used the biggest table from the small coffee table set as a nightstand. I kept kicking it getting in and out of bed. Not what I expect from a Hilton property. At breakfast they were often out of silverware, and we didn’t try the evening food. The kitchenette paper towels were never replenished when they got low. Housekeeping moved my things off the towel shelf just to arrange the towels a certain way, though they could’ve put the towels somewhere else. The pool side door was unreliable and sometimes took three or more key attempts to open. The far end hall door didn’t work at all, so one night we parked near it and had to walk around to get in. The soundproofing was poor too. We could hear voices from next door, and one night someone played loud music at 1030pm. This was my second stay here, in a different year, and the door problems were the same both times.

The staff were professional and polite, and the breakfast was fantastic. Our room was spacious and clean, and the price was exceptional for the quality. Glad we found this place for our Victoria visit. Thanks for the hospitality and care. We’ll definitely return.

There’s a happy hour every evening, with enough good food that you could make a dinner of it. I stayed in room 319 for business. It backs up to the ice machine and elevator, but was still very quiet. The whole hotel is clean, well maintained, and the staff were nice and helpful. My room was lovely too. There’s a pleasant indoor and outdoor area to relax in, and the workout room was great. I used the treadmills and they worked well. I’ll certainly stay here again. Also, be sure to eat at Froggy's Grub and Pub while you’re here. It was amazing too!

My husband and I came from Florida to see family in Victoria and booked the Homewood suites as soon as we learned there was one here. We’ve stayed with Homewood suites before, and as usual, had a pleasant visit with no complaints. The beds were super comfortable, the room was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. The AC worked perfectly, and having a ceiling fan was a plus. I love that the clean smell is there throughout the hotel, from when you walk in until you leave. Thanks for always making our stays, whether in Florida or Texas, the best they can be. We’ll definitely return!
