We’ve been staying here while waiting for our apartment to be ready. The new management are awesome, down-to-earth people. The rooms have been remodeled and are clean, and you’re close to a few stores, the Greyhound bus station, and public transportation. People here are friendly.

We didn’t stay there ourselves. We booked a room for a homeless man we’d helped, and he enjoys staying at the hotel because he knows it. The woman we spoke to quoted my husband one price, then charged us more than she’d said.

I’ve never stayed there, but I had a pretty entertaining five minutes outside while heading to the thrift store. I parked right next to it and, out of nowhere, a lady tackled my Park Avenue because she thought it was somebody else’s car. I wasn’t mad at her. She seemed a little out there, and she had me laughing hard. I even got to meet a few of her people. The walk from my car should’ve taken less than a minute, but the folks were so entertaining. Probably not the best crowd, but how many people can say their car got tackled?

Rooms here are very small and don’t have windows. There are hookers, drug dealers, and homeless people around at any time of day. I wouldn’t call it a good or safe place for children, and the price is very high too.

For what they charge weekly, every room should at least have a sofa. Even a loveseat would be better than having none. There’s no furniture beyond a bed, table, and chairs.
