Desert Quail Inn

I came looking for a place in Sedona but ended up in Oak Creek, and I'm so glad I did. There's a grocery store and what I thought was the best breakfast restaurant just steps away, plus great shops and some of the nicest trails and views close by. I couldn't be happier with the location and hope to return. If I do, I'll definitely stay here again. The rooms were incredibly clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came every day, with fresh towels and bedding, bins emptied, and even vacuuming and wiped down surfaces. Big thanks to the team for all that. Front desk service was great too, friendly and informative. This place was more than I could have hoped for.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and shops, restaurants, and bars are just a couple of minutes away on foot. The check-in felt more like a list of things not to do than a welcome, which I found a bit off putting. The atmosphere felt more welcoming at The Views Inn, where I stayed last year.

The room was clean and the hot tub was great. We arrived late in the evening, and the concierge who helped us was lovely. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and make sure we had everything we needed for a nice night's stay.

For four nights, I slept under a blanket with a blood stain. When I reported it, the man in the office, who said he was the manager, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried to blame me for it, which is absurd: neither my mother nor I have our periods, and neither of us had bruises or cuts that could have caused the stain. I keep the Do Not Disturb sign on because I don't like anyone coming into my room on vacation. He used that as an excuse, saying that's why the sheets were dirty. Ridiculous. He even claimed that an old stain would be darker, which is a lie. It clearly wasn't fresh. He got defensive and gave me attitude the whole time instead of apologizing or offering a solution. I've traveled a lot and never had customer service this horrible. Completely unacceptable. Terrible!!! Never stay there!
