Wingate by Wyndham Vineland/Millville

We were in town for a wedding this weekend. The place was clean, the staff were attentive, and the bed was comfy. They had coffee available all day, plus a good breakfast buffet with the usual toast, eggs, yogurt, juice, and oatmeal. The only issue was that we couldn’t get the room cool with the climate control. We didn’t call for help because we didn’t feel like dealing with it, so I can’t hold that against them. Overall, it was a good stay, and I’d stay at another Wyndham property.

I was here with my company for work. The hotel was amazing overall, very near the highway and a few stores in case you need anything. The rooms were very clean, and breakfast was served each morning. My two complaints are that the beds were too firm for me to get comfortable, and the older gentleman serving weekday breakfast had a serious attitude problem. He was always hovering, shaking his head, and cussing over every little thing. On a couple of mornings, a woman had her children eating in the lobby, and he was cussing in front of them.

The room was amazing and the price for two days was cheap. My wife and I just wanted a couple of days away while I’m staying with family, and we spent the whole time in the room sleeping, watching movies, and relaxing in the hot tub. I’ll definitely stay there again.

The building seems to have a mold problem throughout. My friends’ room on the fourth floor smelled of mold too. We were in town for a wedding, checked in late, and found our room very dark with a strong mold smell. We couldn’t breathe at night, so we asked again the next morning for a different room, but they were overbooked and had to cancel other guests’ stays because they were at capacity. They did move us to a hotel 10 minutes away, but still charged the full rate despite the room being unlivable.
