The room had so much space for what I paid, $670 for two nights, or $335 a night. My colleague and I had separate sleeping areas, plus a living room, full kitchen, three beds, and 1.5 bathrooms. Other hotels charged as much or more for a single room with just beds. Everything was well stocked and comfortable, and I was there for two nights on a work trip in October. My schedule was tight, so being able to get into the room with a code sent by email after the office closed was a big help. I didn’t have to check in at all. Everyone I dealt with was kind and helpful over phone, email, and text. From there, I could walk to the beaches, and one morning I walked into Oak Bluffs for breakfast, then ate it on the beach while reading my book. After checkout, I left my luggage in the shed. On Friday night it was fun to walk over to Noman's Bar, too. I got home and told my husband we should make this our vacation spot next year. I’d recommend it and stay again.

The grounds are what make the Inn stand out. I went on plenty of morning runs to watch the sunrise, and the location is hard to beat for that. Walking into Oak Bluffs is a bit of a trek, though, so keep that in mind. I stayed in room 39G for a writer's workshop. It was immaculate, with good AC and fans, and the fridge, stove, and microwave were all in good shape.

We’ve been coming here in the quieter off-season for the MV Fishing Derby for years. It’s an easygoing place, set back from the road and somewhat secluded. There are tennis, a pool, firepits in the yard, and first-floor units, with some dog-friendly ones for an added cost. Noman’s, a casual restaurant next door, is open during the season. The bike and walking trail is out front, and it’s only minutes to the beach and town.

It was quiet in the fall, and the room was comfortable. We had a great weekend at Island Inn, MV, with a very good room rate and lots of amenities. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. I loved the stay and will definitely come back.

Our unit was spotless, roomy, and well equipped for three adults and two teens, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The property is kept up very well and exceptionally clean. It has tennis courts, a playground, an outdoor pool, and what you’d need for families, couples, and pets. There’s plenty of parking, the MV bus line is just steps away, and beaches and Oak Bluffs are only minutes from the Island Inn. We’ll stay here again.
