10/10
I was in Vinton for work, and this was just right for the trip. It’s a small place, maybe 10-15 rooms total, so breakfast isn’t a huge spread, but it was nice to have something to get started with in the morning. I also liked the little bar. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was quiet at night. The beds were comfortable, and I slept great.

We didn’t eat breakfast here since there were plenty of options nearby. The lobby is small, but there’s a couch, TV, and eating area. Our room was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Nobody was at the desk when we needed help, but someone arrived promptly and was very nice about answering all our questions. We enjoyed the stay and will be back!!

The water from the jacuzzi in our “suite” came out completely brown when we turned it on. That was gross, and so was the condition of the room. It had bugs everywhere, including fleas in our bed, despite the front desk guy saying it had been “deep cleaned” before we checked in. When I told him how many bugs there were and how disgusting it was, he wouldn’t accommodate us and didn’t even know what a flea was. We’re definitely not coming back. I’d give it a negative rating if I could.

The front desk man was extremely nice and accommodating when we had a last-minute emergency. Everything else was stellar too, except the toilet, which screamed when you flushed it. I’d stay again when it wasn’t an emergency.

Breakfast was awful, with cold, hard biscuits and cold gravy. I took it back to my room to warm it up. The room itself was okay.
