Galleria Park Hotel

The location was hard to beat. Everything I wanted was walkable, from breakfast sandwiches on the way to work to ramen on the walk home. The waterfront is about a 20-minute walk, and there’s plenty to do, see, and eat nearby. I got some great sightseeing suggestions from the welcoming front desk team, and everyone from valet to housekeeping was friendly and hospitable. These folks are real pros at customer experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a big room and comfy beds. The bathroom is charming but cozy, so don’t expect much counter space. I could check out late for a very reasonable $25 and take a work call in the mezzanine above the lobby. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to coworkers visiting SF. The third-floor rooftop park must be lovely in the sunshine, and I hope to catch it next time.

The room was small, but clean and cozy, and there were free refillable water bottles with refill stations down the hall. We also tried the free lobby “sipping hour” at 5 each afternoon, and it was lovely. Chinatown and nearby MUNI stops were a short walk away, with cafes, restaurants, and bars within five minutes. We stayed three nights with family and had a great time. The front desk staff and bellmen were exceptional from the minute we arrived, carrying our luggage, answering questions, and giving our three-year-old daughter a goodie bag. The Galleria Park Hotel was perfect for our San Francisco trip, and we’d stay again.

Jeffrey and the whole team were top notch, and the housekeeping staff deserve kudos. Our bellman and valet were great too, and recommended the White House Garage for self-parking. It was affordable, easy, and clean. Happy hour was a delight, and the rooms were clean and modern. Great location and service, an excellent stay!

Every staff member I met over my three nights was lovely, from security and the doorman to the front desk. Maria cleaned my room and was so sweet and wonderful. I mentioned I was in town for an interview, and the next day she asked how it went. The staff were truly epic. The room facing the street was very loud, and there were no blackout curtains. There’s also a nightly resort fee.
