The place was tidy and had plenty of parking, and the service was friendly and professional. The rooms are a little dated, but you can’t beat how close it is to the beach.

The price and location are the main draws, and the staff were nice. Our room was spacious and the AC worked well, but the bathroom was hot. The TV didn’t work, and the phone kept ringing for no reason until I unplugged it. They offer coffee and juice. There were dirty hand towels draped over the shower rails when we arrived. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it did make me wonder what else had been missed in cleaning.

The location was good and the staff polite, but that’s all I can say in its favor. The room was dirty, the pool was full of sand, and the floors were covered in dirt. Towels, bath mats, washcloths, sheets, pillowcases, and comforters all had brown or black stains. There was mold on the bathroom walls and the shower drain was clogged.

For a cheap motel, I wasn’t expecting much, but the location and strong shower pressure were the only good parts. Sand and dirt covered the floor, which looked like it hadn’t been mopped. The microwave was splattered with food left by the previous guests, the sheets and blankets were stained, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The counter, sink, shower, and shower curtain were dirty too. It felt like no one really cleaned between guests, just made the beds and put out towels and washcloths. We even bought our own bedding at Dollar General. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. People should take pride in their businesses, and these folks clearly don’t.
