Country Inn & Suites VirginiaBeach (Oceanfront) VA

The location is fantastic, walkable, and felt safe. There were few people around in winter, though yellow jackets with fluorescent elongated objects on the boardwalk were a nuisance. I stayed for a week in December 2025. My 8th-floor South-East corner room had a phenomenal view and lots of sunlight. It was cozy, clean, everything worked, and the balcony doors allowed superb lüft. Breakfast was decent. The main concern was the fire alarm going off on three of the seven nights, probably because it’s faulty. There were a few smaller things: dusty insides in the a/c, a visibly scratched TV that I didn’t care about, and a connecting door to the neighboring room, possibly because the space used to be a luxury multiroom unit for bourgeoisie. The neighbors coming in wasn’t a problem, but we could hear each other talking through the door. The wall itself was well insulated.

We chose this hotel for our wedding anniversary and it was just as nice as advertised. Parking was onsite and convenient, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our ocean-side room smelled fresh, was clean and comfortable, and everything worked well. We enjoyed the hot breakfast, and the breakfast staff worked hard to keep enough food available. We’d gladly consider another stay and highly recommend it.

Breakfast was the highlight: a full hot buffet with very good food, and staff who kept it replenished. At the front desk, they recognized my rewards status and gave me a small token of appreciation. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a nice beach view. The bed was firm in a good way, and the bathroom was fully stocked with towels and washcloths. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice views, and you can swim indoors or work out. The shower pressure was a little weak. Beds are subjective, but these were on the firm side of neutral and I liked them. Breakfast was good.
