Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

I spent my birthday here and everyone was so nice. The view from the room was amazing, and Damion Davis gave us food suggestions when we arrived. He was spot on. I loved the sports vibe in the Hunt room and the wings. Joanne Williams at the pool set up our towels, got the umbrella just right, and even went out of her way to take a few photos of us. I loved her spirit. At breakfast each morning, Rio made our omelettes perfectly and took care to keep them from getting overcooked. You could tell he really loved cooking. The classes and activities, including workout and meditation, were a plus. I’d stay here again. I can’t say enough about the place, and I’ll be back soon. Thanks for making my birthday memorable.

The made-to-order breakfast was a highlight, with lots of variety and fresh options, and it was a lovely way to start the day. The common areas felt inviting, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The hotel and room were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, from check-in through checkout. Embassy Suites offers good value for the amenities, and it’s a dependable choice for comfort, convenience, and service. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

I planned a surprise weekend for my wife’s 25th birthday and booked this one-night stay with points. The trip cost a lot, so I was excited and hoped for a good experience. I was told check-in would be at 4 pm, but that we could arrive early and use the amenities. When we got there, though, they said the beach chairs and umbrella weren’t in season yet, even though I’d been told they were available before booking. We didn’t get into our room until about 5 pm. That delay wouldn’t usually bother me, but at this price I expected them to have things sorted out. Julie and the front desk manager were really nice. They refunded the parking fee, which I appreciated, and gave us a later checkout the next day. The biggest letdown, besides the delayed check-in and unavailable beach chairs, was that I’d been told Hilton would do something sweet for my wife for a special occasion, but nothing was done. I wasn’t expecting anything grand, just a small complimentary item or even a card. The stay was good and the staff were very sweet, and I’m beyond blessed. I’m not complaining about how we were treated, but for what I paid, I honestly expected more from a four-star Hilton. For my wife’s birthday, I could have gone somewhere else and saved the points.

The activities were a big part of our stay. My daughter got to meet a mermaid, and my sweetheart and I tried a Paint and Sip class. They also offer things like Meditation and Mimosas and charcuterie workshops, so there was plenty to choose from. Later, the evening reception had complimentary drinks and snacks, a nice way to unwind. Our suite felt fresh, clean, spacious, and practical, with a relaxed upscale feel. Breakfast was another highlight: made-to-order omelets, fruit, hot dishes, and plenty of coffee. The staff were welcoming and helpful without hovering, and the oceanfront location put us close to the beach, restaurants, and attractions while still feeling peaceful. Ms. Sydni at the front desk deserves a special mention. She explained the area, suggested places to shop and eat, and her knowledge and charm made check-in memorable. We loved the stay and were already thinking about coming back before we left.
