We paid $225.92 through Candlewood Suites after they said they were full and offered to book us at America Suites. We’d booked twin beds, but on arrival they said there weren’t any, then charged another $36 for double beds. At about $250 a night, I expected a room that was at least presentable. The place felt run down and creepy. One dresser drawer was missing, the kitchen appliances and cabinets were rusty, paint was chipped all over, and the bathroom mirror and bathroom itself were gross. The beds had been made, but one sloped downward. We heard yelling and whistling all night. The rear parking felt sketchy, so we parked out front. The grab-and-go breakfast felt like a run by and don't take anything situation. The front desk girl was very nice, though the office looked like something from a scary movie. I have photos but can’t upload them right now. We’ll avoid America Suites Extended Stay in the future.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. Wi-Fi worked well, too. Staff were friendly, and the area felt safe even at night. No complaints, I’d happily stay again.

The room was dirty, dated, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. I found spiderwebs in several corners. I also asked politely for cookware that wasn’t badly scratched. The front desk guy took my set, then returned with an even more scratched one and said, “If you want unscratched cookware, go to a five-star hotel.” That was rude and completely unprofessional. I won’t stay here again or recommend it.

Alexis is a real example of how a manager should carry herself. She’s professional, kind, soft-spoken, and works well with the team. Most of all, she’s a leader. Thank you, Extended Stay America, for employees like her.

The towels and bed were stained, and I’ll never come back. The front desk lady seemed so out of it that she almost didn’t know where she was. She was very unprofessional and made my husband and me uncomfortable.
