We had a wonderful week in a comfortable location, and we're happy to be back after staying away for a few years because of serious communication problems with the previous manager. My husband has owned a unit in this condominium since it opened in 1976. After some mismanagement over the last decade, it is refreshing to see what a good manager and team can do for the property. We plan to visit again and again, and look forward to seeing Virginia Beach change and grow. It's an older building from about 50 years ago, with small bathrooms and kitchens, but our unit had what we needed for a pleasant beach week. Elevator floor work was happening during our stay, and it was good to see repairs being made. The front desk staff, Kyla, Anne, and Tori, security worker Shannon, and maintenance worker Justin were all friendly, professional, and very helpful. They answered our questions and responded quickly when we needed help with maintenance in the unit.

This was our first summer at The Colony, and everyone we met was pleasant and welcoming. We had a fabulous time, with family ranging from one year old to over 70. I own week 33 and rented two other units for all of us. The accommodations were comfortable and outstanding, with enough room for everyone to spread out and not feel cramped. We spent most of our time at the pool or out by the ocean, and we're already looking forward to future August family vacations here.

I'm really pleased to have such a lovely place for vacations with family and friends. Seeing what's been achieved since our stay just a few short years ago makes me happy. The units are clean and updated when needed, and the staff are accommodating to owners and renters.

There's entertainment and restaurants within walking distance, and we had fun renting bikes to ride along the Boardwalk. The room and beds were comfortable and clean, and the place is a great option for staying here. We had a fantastic stay last week. Cammie at the office was especially sweet and friendly, and Gus from maintenance responded quickly when we needed something.
