She can ban you from the property and threaten to call the police if you upset her too much. The rooms also weren't very clean, and they didn't seem safe for anyone with a disability. The manager or owner advertises on the radio that she'll work with people, but that wasn't my experience. She had different rules for each resident checking in, then changed them all again five minutes later. She also charged different people different amounts.

The motel was impressively clean. New ownership seems committed to keeping standards up, and I’d happily stay here again on my next visit. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, affordable place to stay.

We won't be returning to the Hickory Hill Motel. The road noise was pretty bad, and the hot water was unreliable. There was no coffee in the room, and although the lobby was supposed to open at 7:00 for coffee, the owner didn't show up to open it and make coffee until around 7:30 on either day we stayed. The room and property felt worn out and weren't clean when we arrived. There were dead bugs on the floor and hair on the towels. Maybe all of that would be acceptable at $60 a night, but not at $120 a night after tax.

I was in the area for work and would stay here again if I come back. It was cheap, quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly.

We stayed at Hickory Hills for a family event two weekends in a row, with two king rooms the first weekend and three the next. Chad was really friendly and kind to my family ❤️, and we like supporting a small, family-run business. It's a no-frills motel, but SUPER clean. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were crisp and clean in every room. We enjoyed both visits and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again next time we're in town. Thanks, Chad!
