Super 8 by Wyndham Visalia

This was my third stay here, though the first time I’ve written a review. When I came into the office to sort out my reservation, the worker’s first question was how my trip had gone. That made me feel welcome. I’ve stayed at plenty of Super 8s where I wished I wasn’t there, but these rooms are great. I haven’t tried the breakfast since I’m usually still up from the night before, lol. I’d choose this place over Motel 6 any day. Thanks for reading.

The stay was awful from the start. Our first room smelled terrible, and the toilet seat was broken. Then the shower flooded the bathroom, sending dirty water into the main room. When we called the desk, the staff moved us to a room with two queen beds but charged extra for it. Nobody apologized for the original room, the flooding, or the hassle, and the front desk acted like we were bothering them. Now I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company, another headache for a stay that was substandard from the beginning. This was the worst Super 8 I’ve stayed at. It felt like the staff didn’t care about guests, and I’d tell people to book somewhere else.

I’m so angry that I spent money here. My room was handed over dirty, and the bathroom was filthy enough that I couldn’t even shower in the tub. For what they charge, the rooms aren’t worth it. The manager and employees were rude and the service was horrible. They don’t seem to care how your stay goes, just about getting your money, and they don’t consider what you need. Go somewhere else. This place isn’t it.

The room I ended up in had a broken seal on the fridge, and my food spoiled. My white socks turned black just from walking around, and I’d only settled for that room because I wanted to relax in the tub. Before that, I’d been shown four rooms after finding the first had a broken A/C. None of them had cooling A/C or a fan that blew more than a whisper. Unfortunately, it was an awful experience.
