Volcano Rainforest Lodge

We spent two nights here at the end of July. There’s no AC, but fans of all kinds are provided. The house is gorgeous, clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything you could need. I loved the tropical plants and fruit trees in the yard, and the wraparound porch was a quiet place to sit. The coqui frogs are incredibly loud at night, but they didn’t stop us sleeping. The property is large, though I could still hear people yelling at each other somewhere nearby while I was on the back patio. Keaau is your best bet for groceries and food if you haven’t brought supplies. The two front bedrooms get humid and musty, so use the dehumidifiers provided. Highly recommend.
