Hampton Inn Voorhees

I was here during the recent snowstorm because it was near Virtua, where I work. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful, taking care of problems right away. The restaurant next door was closed because of the storm. I understand, though I do wish the hotel had its own restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was nice. I'd come back and recommend it.

Pros: The room was clean and had no cockroaches. Coffee was available for self-service in the lobby around the clock. A couple of employees were really nice, including one who let us have a late checkout. Cons: High-speed WiFi costs $5 a day, and people were definitely smoking weed downstairs. Most employees were rude from my first call about checking in through all three nights. Almost every time we came in, staff had earbuds in and ignored our greetings. On the holiday, room service was off, which I understand, but management had planned so badly that we'd run out of toilet paper. The front desk had none and told me to get some from the lobby restroom. We had arranged a late checkout with the front desk, but housekeeping questioned it and then went back to talking on the phone in a rude tone about us having one. I'm from NY. This wasn't a regional manners issue.

Danielle greeted us as soon as we arrived and had such warm, bubbly energy. We felt welcomed right away, and check-in was easy. The location was also really convenient. I'm giving this place five stars after being here for just ten minutes.

We enjoyed staying at Hampton Inn when we travel, and this visit was no exception. The hotel was close to the hospital, which helped a lot. Breakfast was delicious, and the front desk service, room cleanliness, accommodations, and bathroom were all very good.
