Knights Inn - Wabash, IN

We worked third shift and had no trouble sleeping during the day since it was pretty quiet. The water was hot, and the place didn’t smell. It was dated, and the mattress wasn’t terrible. I’d stay again.

The bathroom was scary, and the floor was so dirty neither of us would walk on it barefoot. The bedroom photos on the website were a scam, the room looked nothing like them. We’d driven 48 hours to Wabash, Indiana, to buy an RV and needed somewhere after hours, with few choices available. The decor itself wasn’t too bad, but the filth was a deal breaker. The paint was very old, and the pillows were completely flat, like pancakes. The owner should deep clean the place, really deep clean it, and the ratings would be better.

The bed was uncomfortable, and the room no longer had a coffee pot or the comfy chair, just a hard plastic chair at the table. Knights inn used to be our go-to whenever we visited town, more than twice a year. After this last stay, I don’t think we’ll stay there anymore. We’ll pay extra to stay at best western.

They’re working hard to update the place, and the owners were great, though hard to track down. But the pool and hot tub were closed without notice. Our room had a bed and nothing else, no table or lounge chair.
