Willows on the River

It was nice and quiet during the office season. The bunk beds did make noise when you moved, though. I'd probably come again.

The building was quiet, and the views of Lake Peppin from the window are gorgeous. Our unit was extremely clean and clearly well cared for. The attached restaurant is superb, and the price is amazing. We loved it and will be back. Highly recommend!

We finally got to stay at Willow’s over the 2023 holiday with my family, after years of driving past and wanting to visit. It did not disappoint. The property sits at the edge of town overlooking the broad beaches of Lake Pepin, Mn, and since it was such a mild day, we walked along the shore. I've cleaned homes for a living for over 30 years, so I'm pretty picky about hotels and can usually find dirt. Not here. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the staff were kind. Shayna and her team had everything we needed to be comfortable. I felt safe booking with them, and Kelly’s Lakeshore restaurant was high quality too. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

We'd definitely stay here again. In room 205, a second-floor one-bedroom condo, the kitchen was well appointed with a fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, toaster, and a sink and dishwasher in the island with stools. The king bed was comfortable, with a TV in the bedroom. There was a washer and dryer in the bedroom's walk-in closet, and the bathroom could be reached from either the bedroom or living room. The living room had a sofa, loveseat, two armchairs, and a high-top table with two bar stools. There was a fireplace, windows above it, floor-to-ceiling windows on either side, and a deck to the right. The view looked out on the Mississippi River/Lake Pepin. The exercise room was across the hallway, and the building also had a swimming pool and hot tub. Kelly's Bar and Grill was busy both Friday and Saturday night, and the food was very good. The Saturday night prime rib special had run out by 6pm, though. It's a very short drive to Wabasha and National Eagle Center, Larp Toys, Nelson Creamery, and Redwing Pottery Museum. Recommend.
