I'd stay here again. For an overnight visit, the spacious room, nice staff, and clean shared area were all good. I liked having a kitchen with a large fridge, dishes, and a dishwasher. There's also a decent gym, an outdoor gas fire pit, and an outdoor pool, though the pool was closed for winter. The shower needs a deep clean. The caulk is stained and the floor could use a good scrub, so I didn't feel comfortable going barefoot in there. A few things to know: the beds are soft, which I like, and you can hear a little highway noise, especially over the rumble strips. The floors are thin too, so footsteps from upstairs carry. None of that really bothered us, but if you need quiet, it may not suit you. Seems like the design of a middle-of-the-road hotel.

Ice and snow have kept me here two days longer than planned, but there's nowhere else I'd rather be stuck than this Home2 Suites. The whole staff has been amazing and gone the extra mile to make this a great experience. The rooms are perfect.

The rooms are spacious, and having a full-size fridge in the kitchenette is handy. The location is great, and the rooms and amenities are what I'd expect from a Home2. But my pillows smelled absolutely awful from the last guest, and it's happened before. I also don't like the stray cats hanging around the side patio and entrance. It's dirty.

The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked well, and most of the staff were friendly. Still, I probably won't stay again. Highway noise was disruptive, and the room was disgusting: a peeling toilet seat, hair on the sink and shower walls, carpet stains, and marks on the bedroom wall. The bathroom overall wasn't clean. Breakfast had a lot of choices, but it was pretty gross, and the duvet cover was scratchy.

I was here for work for just under five months, and Carol, the housekeeper, and Karen at reception made it feel like home. They were always there when I needed something and went above and beyond what I've experienced at most hotels. If I'm in Waco again, I'll book here.
